The institution is inspired by the educational and social mission of the Diocese of Belthangady, which was established in 1999 to serve the people of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Kodagu districts through various educational, healthcare, and social service initiatives. The Diocese has consistently promoted value-based education aimed at fostering human dignity, social responsibility, and community development.
The journey of Kalpatharu Educational Trust began with the establishment of Kalpatharu School of Nursing in 2004, with the objective of preparing skilled and compassionate nursing professionals.
