B.Sc. Nursing Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit & Citizenship
- Must be at least 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the admission year.
- Open to Indian Nationals meeting standard eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualification
- Passed 10+2 / 2nd PUC or equivalent examination recognized by RGUHS Bangalore.
- Passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English individually.
Aggregate Percentage Requirement
- General Category: Minimum 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
- SC / ST / OBC Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
Entrance Test & Medical Fitness
- Must qualify in the Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). (Note: NEET is not required).
- Mandatory Medical Fitness Certificate from a registered allopathic medical practitioner.
Required Documents for Admission
Please keep all original certificates and 4-6 attested photocopies ready during admission counseling.
1. Core Academic & Identity Documents (Mandatory for All)
- SSLC / 10th Standard Marks Card: Proof of candidate name and Date of Birth (DOB).
- 2nd PUC / 12th Standard Marks Card: Verifies aggregate percentage in PCB and English.
- KCET Admit Card / Hall Ticket (UGCET): Entrance examination validation.
- KCET Rank Card / Result Copy: Secured merit score copy for current academic year.
- Aadhaar Card: Or valid Government-issued photo ID proof.
- Recent Passport Photographs: 4 to 6 physical passport-sized copies.
2. KEA Counselling Documents (Govt & Private Quota)
- KEA Online Application Form Printout: Final submitted application copy from KEA portal.
- KEA Fee Payment Receipt: Validating paid admission / counselling fee.
- KEA Verification Slip & Allotment Order: Issued after document verification by KEA authority.
3. Location & Domicile Certificates (If Claiming Quota)
- 7 Years Study Certificate: Issued by school heads in Karnataka (1st to 12th/PUC), countersigned by Block Education Officer (BEO).
- Rural Study Certificate: For claiming rural quota (10 full years 1st to 10th standard in rural regions).
- Kannada Medium Certificate: For claiming Kannada medium quota (10 full years 1st to 10th standard).
4. Category & Caste Certificates (If Applicable)
- Caste / Income Certificate: Form-D/Form-E/Form-F issued by Tahsildar for SC, ST, Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B candidates.
- EWS Certificate: Economically Weaker Section eligibility layout copy if applicable.
5. Migration & Special Certificates (Out-of-State / Management Candidates)
Transfer Certificate (TC)
Issued by last attended school or college.
Migration Certificate
Mandatory for Non-Karnataka CBSE / ICSE / Other State Board candidates.
Medical Fitness Certificate
Signed by Registered Medical Practitioner (Allopathic) declaring fit for clinical duties.
